I had the opportunity rebuild and modernize a StoryMap for the Natural Resources Department for use on the Burnsville map and apps web page. The previous StoryMap had been built and stored on Classic ESRI Story Maps and was lost when ESRI moved to the new StoryMap platform.Project Links:

Process:
The Natural Resourses Department provided me with the a document that contained the HTML code used to create the original outline and text used. I used that as a launching point to create the StoryMap, met with Natural Resources, and made edits as they suggested. Once complete, the Burnsville Communications Team gave the final approval for the project to be linked on the public facing websites.
Skills Learned During Project:
Basic Arcade Scripting
Accessible Alternate Text, how to properly format.
How to correctly connect the data in a way that it will automatically update on the insets as features are added and removed.
