I had the opportunity rebuild and modernize a StoryMap for the Natural Resources Department for use on the Burnsville map and apps web page. The previous StoryMap had been built and stored on Classic ESRI Story Maps and was lost when ESRI moved to the new StoryMap platform.Project Links:

Process:
The Natural Resourses Department provided me with the old pdf that contained the rough outline and text used for the project previously. I used that as a launching point to create the StoryMap, met with Natural Resources, and made edits as they suggested. Once complete, the Burnsville Communications Team gave the final approval for the project to be linked on the public facing websites.
